A very basic and slightly repetitive depiction of discrimination against women and fighting against all odds. Great performances by the entire cast. The movie touches your heart but barely scratches the surface in leaving a mark. Bhumi, Taapsee fans ❤❤❤❤. Learn to appreciate these kind of movies, Bollywood.
We are lucky that still there are people who make movies like this able to inspire a generation, make us realise the value of women and teach us to respect them.
These two ladies are the example for us to learn about the condition of our society we're living in and the most important factor is even in this condition they didn't give in rather they tried their best to cross the barrier, helped their daughters to fulfill their dreams and succeeded in it.
This is not a typical success story, not a comeback story.
This is the story of defying all the odds when the whole world is against you and showing us the path even in the bad condition.

And if today their is no one to protect a women (Sita) she know how to stand for herself. village most people abuse women, they forced to get marry at very young age, people judge them by their clothes but surprisingly the girl wearing burkha also get raped. and in village girls not allowed to go school.! Why only woman have to leave their home after marriage and change her surname for his husband! if boys have to do this will they charge their surname ?will they leave their home? If no then why girl forced to do this. and some village I saw girls in period still consider untouchable and don't allow to enter kitchen and temple during periods. Women bleed to generate this world please respect it ! Remembered in The times of History it was the WOMEN who was tortured not the men.
